Fillers: Dermal fillers, commonly called "filler", are a collection of injected products that provide a less invasive, cost-effective and safe option for facial rejuvenation. As we go thru life, our skin loses its youthful appearance due to a loss of function and substance in our dermis, our supporting layer of our skin. This produces wrinkles and an aged-appearance. Filler helps correct these changes by replacing some of that loss of support.

Injectable fillers are primarily used to improve the appearance of the skin’s contours. They can help fill out deep facial wrinkles, creases and furrows, sunken cheeks, skin depression and some types of scars. They can also be used to add a fuller, more sensuous look to the lips. These dermal injectable filler are particularly helpful for the treatment of naso labial folds (lines from the side of the nose to the mouth that accompany aging) and wrinkles or marionette’s lines on the chin. Some newer injectable filler also add thickness to the skin filling in areas of fat loss resulting from the aging process.
